Lavender honey lemonade is the perfect naturally sweetened summer beverage. It's way too hot out for tea, so this is the best way to enjoy the many benefits of lavender and honey during this season.
Measure out 1-5 tablespoon dried lavender. Tie it in cheesecloth or a tea bag.
Remove water from heat and steep your dried lavender for 15-20 mins.
Cut 6-8 lemons in half and juice them. Remove any seeds from the lemon juice. Optional: use a mesh strainer to remove the pulp.
Boil the remaining 3 cups of water.
Stir in your honey until it is dissolved and remove it from the heat.
Mix in your lemon juice.
Combine all and serve chilled over ice! Enjoy!
Notes
Don't steep your lavender for more than 15-20 minutes as it can become bitter.
Use 1-5 tablespoon of lavender according to your taste preference.
To get the most juice out of each lemon simply use your palm to gently roll each lemon before cutting and juicing!
Serve iced.
