Lavender sugar is a sweet and floral delight! It can be used in so many ways in your kitchen or make for a lovely gift. It only requires two ingredients and a food processor to create.
Put 1 cup of sugar and your dried lavender into the food processor. Chop it up for 10-second intervals until the lavender is finely ground. (Don't overdo it!)
Add the sugar and lavender combination in with the remaining sugar and mix it all together well.
Transfer to an airtight container and label with the name and date. Enjoy!
Notes
1 tablespoon gives you a lovely touch of lavender whereas 2 tablespoons is much more intense. The choice is yours!
Don't over-process your sugar.
Be sure no moisture is introduced to your lavender sugar by using fully dried culinary grade lavender.
Store for 6-12 months in a labeled airtight container in a cool dark place.
