Mango pico de gallo is a quick and delicious recipe you NEED to try this summer! Prepare your ingredients and mix them up, it's that easy! Make this for any occasion as a great last-minute snack option or use it as a topping on your tacos.
Dice your mango, Roma tomatoes, red bell pepper, and red onion (optional: also a jalapeño.) Chop your fresh cilantro and grate your garlic. Add to a large mixing bowl.
Add your salt.
Juice 2 limes (see notes for a helpful tip!) and pour over all ingredients in the bowl.
Mix everything well with a wooden spoon or rubber scraper.
Serve with chips and enjoy!
Notes
To get the most juice possible out of your limes, roll them with the palm of your hand across a table or countertop. Cut in half across the middle and juice!
Yellow onion can be used! I like to use purple for the flavor and color.
You can use any color of bell pepper you’d like, I used red!
