Homemade Calendula Salve | DIY Herbal Salve
A simple and beginner-friendly DIY herbal product for your skin!
Equipment
- Double boiler OR a pot with a stainless steel or glass bowl that fits on top of it.
- Kitchen Scale.
- Glass jars or metal tins.
Ingredients
- 1 cup calendula infused oil
- 1 oz beeswax
Instructions
- Set up your double boiler with about 2 inches worth of water in the bottom pot. Bring it to a simmer.
- Pour your calendula infused oil into the top pot and place it on top of the other.
- Heat your oil up.
- Add your beeswax and stir the mixture until it is all well combined.
- Pour your salve into glass jars or metal tins.
- Allow your salve to cool off before putting the lids on and before use.
- Store your homemade calendula salve in a cool dark place.
