    The Best Mango Popsicles

    These mango popsicles are a fruity and creamy delight on a hot day! Tested and approved by my family, I'm sure yours will love them too. Keeping cool while spending lots of time out in the sun is always achieved by lots of water and a popsicle each. This recipe is a healthier take on a summer favorite that takes very little effort to whip up!

    Homemade mango popsicles are perfect for the whole family. Everyone from adults and even teething toddlers will be thrilled when you pull these pops out of the freezer this summer!

    What are mango pops made of?

    • Mango - Fresh or frozen mango will work for this recipe!
    • Greek yogurt - Creamy, delicious, and a much healthier addition to your mango popsicle recipe!
    • Arrowroot powder - Arrowroot powder can help to make your popsicles less icy. Substitute with cornstarch if you prefer.
    • Honey - This optional natural sweetener helps to make this taste even more delicious! Test it with and without to see what you prefer.
    • Vanilla - Optional but can add a little extra flavor!
    How do you make homemade popsicles less icy?

    Adding in cream of tartar or arrowroot powder can help to make your homemade popsicles less icy!

    Ingredients

    • 2 cups fresh or frozen diced mango
    • 1 cup greek yogurt
    • 3 tablespoons arrowroot powder (or cornstarch)
    • Optional: 1-2 tablespoons honey
    • Optional: 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract

    Mango Popsicle Recipe

    1. If using fresh mango: remove the skin and pit before cutting it into small cubes to measure out and add to your blender.
    2. Add all ingredients to a blender and blend until smooth.
    3. Pour or spoon into your popsicle mold of choice.

    4. Freeze overnight.

    5. Enjoy!

    Tips

    • If using frozen mango, there’s no need to thaw it! Blend as is until smooth.
    • Honey and vanilla are purely for added flavor but are completely optional.
    • Blending until smooth ensures nobody ends up with a bite of frozen fruit between their teeth. Ouch! 
    • Yields 6-10 popsicles depending on the size of your mold.
    • If needed, run the popsicle mold under warm water for a moment to help release the popsicles.
    • Store individually wrapped up tight in a freezer-safe bag. Be sure to label it with the recipe name and date until ready to enjoy.
